A Bit About Me

An Impassioned Writer

My love of fantasy, folklore, and all things supernatural began at a young age when my mother used to read to me as a child. She instilled a love of literature in me through classics like the Hobbit, Dune, D'Laires Book of Greek Myths, and others which still thrives inside my heart today. As I grew I became fascinated with the macabre and my interests started to change. By the time I finally picked up the pen, I had been corrupted by horror fiction. Subsequently my work is heavily influenced by Lovecraft, King, and Shelley. Though I delighted in the dark and brutal, I never lost my love of fantasy world building. I loved the worlds created by great luminaries like Tolkien, Butcher, and Rothfuss. As a result, my work ends up landing somewhere between high fantasy, horror, and urban fantasy.


I have written several short stories including Footsteps in the Darkness​, which made the short list for the 2016 Fish Publishing Flash Fiction Prize. I am currently working on my debut novel Abyssal Tides, a supernatural thriller set in modern day Massachusetts, in between my short stories and D&D supplements. When not concocting new monsters  for my players to face in my home game or relaxing on the beach with my wonderful fiancée, Madison, I can be found most days with my faithful labrador retriever, Bam, writing away in my sunny Florida office.
